• Sundarbans Mangrove Tour is a tour and travel service specializing in Sundarban tourism.

• Our services include tour packages, accommodations, food, boat safari, guide support, and related travel arrangements.

• All bookings are confirmed only after successful payment and official confirmation from our team.

2. Eligibility to Book

You must:

• Be at least 18 years old, or be accompanied by a guardian.

• Provide correct personal information for booking.

• Agree to share valid ID proof at check-in, as required by government regulations.

3. Booking Confirmation

A booking is considered fully confirmed only when:

1. You make the required advance payment.

2. You receive a confirmation message or email from us.

3. You provide required traveller details (name, phone number, ID proof).

Note: Prices may vary during festival seasons, peak seasons, or due to changes in transport/permit fees.

4. Payment Policy

Advance Payment

• A minimum advance amount is required to secure your booking.

• The balance amount must be paid before the trip begins or as instructed by our team.

Payment Methods

• UPI / Bank Transfer / Online Payment Link

• Cash payments (only in authorized cases)

We do not accept responsibility for payments made to third parties without our confirmation.

5. Cancellation & Refund Policy

We follow a fair and transparent refund policy:

If YOU cancel the trip:

• 48+ hours before the trip: 70% refund

• 24–48 hours before the trip: 40% refund

• Less than 24 hours: No refund

• No-show: No refund

If WE cancel due to circumstances beyond control:

• Natural calamities, government restrictions, unsafe weather, political disturbances
  → Full refund of the paid amount OR free date rescheduling (your choice)

Note:

• GST + Payment gateway charges are non-refundable.

• Refunds take 3–7 working days.

6. Tour Itinerary & Changes

All itineraries listed on our website are approximate and may change depending on:

• Weather conditions

• Tides

• Government restrictions

• Safety requirements

• Forest permit timing changes

We prioritize safety and wildlife rules, so last-minute changes are sometimes required.

7. Boat Safety & Guidelines

To ensure passenger safety:

• Always follow instructions given by the guide/captain.

• Do not lean over boat edges or attempt risky photography.

• Life jackets must be worn when instructed.

• Entry into restricted forest areas is strictly prohibited.

Violation of safety rules may lead to immediate termination of the tour without refund.

8. Wildlife Sightings

While Sundarban is rich in biodiversity, wildlife sightings are NOT guaranteed.

This includes:

• Royal Bengal Tiger

• Crocodiles

• Deer

• Birds

Our guides choose the best routes, but sightings depend entirely on nature.

9. Personal Belongings

We are not responsible for:

• Loss of luggage

• Damage to personal items

• Loss of mobile/camera

• Items left behind on boat or resort

Guests must take care of their belongings at all times.

10. Food & Accommodation

• Food is prepared hygienically using local ingredients.

• If you have allergies (e.g., seafood, nuts), you must inform us in advance.

• Rooms in Sundarban are usually eco-friendly and may not match city-level luxury.

11. Health & Fitness

Guests must:

• Be physically fit to travel on a boat.

• Inform us of any medical condition beforehand.

• Carry personal medicines.

We are not responsible for health issues arising during the tour unless caused by negligence.

12. Photography & Media Usage

By joining the tour, you allow us to use:

• Photos

• Videos

• Drone footage (where allowed)

…for promotional purposes unless you inform us in writing not to.

13. Behavior Policy

We maintain a safe and respectful environment.

You agree to:

• Not consume alcohol/drugs during the tour.

• Treat crew, guides, and locals respectfully.

• Not litter in forest or rivers.

Any misconduct may lead to removal from the tour without refund.

14. Limitation of Liability

Sundarbans Mangrove Tour is not liable for:

• Delays due to traffic, tides, weather, or government checks

• Natural calamities or wildlife actions

• Accidents caused by negligence of guests

• Loss of belongings

• Third-party issues (transport, hotel partners, etc.)

Our maximum liability is limited to the amount paid for the tour.
